Who Really Has The Cheapest Car Insurance?

Whether it’s on the Internet, television or radio, it seems as though every car insurance carrier claims to offer the cheapest car insurance rates. So, let’s put insurance companies to the test and find out who truly has the lowest car insurance.

You can start your search by finding car insurance rates on Internet. Select at least 3-4 car insurance companies that offer instant online quotes and find out which company offers the lowest car insurance. Keep in mind, just because a car insurance company offers the lowest insurance rates doesn’t mean that it is the best insurance.  You will want to also check what is covered in your car insurance first before making a final decision.

If you really want to lower your car insurance premiums, contact the insurance company directly and find out if you’re eligible for any kind of insurance discounts.  Drivers who have maintained a good driving history and have no outstanding claims for more than four years are often qualified to receive an insurance discount. Remember, every company is different – not every insurance company will offer the same benefits and discounts.

Another way to find discount insurance rates is by checking your Sunday newspaper. Believe it or not, some insurance companies still place advertisement inserts in Sunday papers.

If you already have car insurance, some insurance companies will offer you a lower rate than the one you’re currently being offered from your insurance company.

Drivers who purchase an entire car insurance policy at one time rather than paying monthly premiums can receive major discount insurance rates. Often times, an insurance company will offer you discounts if your insurance premiums are paid on time.

Many drivers who have more than one driver within their household can receive an insurance discount if they open a policy on the same day.  Again, it all depends on the insurance company.

Some companies offer discount rates if a person is in the military and even offer discounts for student drivers.

There are many ways to cut your auto insurance rates, you just have to do your homework, so-to-speak, and find out who is truly offering the best rates that fit within your budget.

Last but certainly not least, you can also lower your insurance rates by purchasing home owners insurance, health insurance, life insurance, flood insurance and other types of insurance by the same company.
